... Who would believe it, the Black Kite is almost becoming extinct in Mallorca, there are only 4 or 5 mates left, but simultaneously Mallorca is developing to a big spot for kitesurfer. Does this has anything in common …?

 

The most popular kitesurfing spots at the northcost of Mallorca are in the bay of Porto Pollienca and the large beach of Playa de Muro. The Hotel Galaxia is situated in Can Picafort only 15 meters from the beach. The kitesurfing spot of Playa de Muro is only a 20 minutes beachwalk far from the Hotel. A nice, proper, white sanded beach with long distance flad see. Normaly there are very few tourists, but still a life guard helps to organize the beach for the kitesurfer. The little kitesurfer community we have had up to now know that the Hotel Galaxia is a bargain.

The Hotel Galaxia wants to push and establish this trend for the northcost and to work hard to rise the attraction of the spot in Playa de Muro.
( …No, the Black Kite is in extinction because of the old mallorquen habit to catch wild cats and dogs with intoxicated baits which unfortunately also are part of the menue of the Black Kites.)
